IOWWA 2012 Annual Conference

January 11-12, 2012

IOWWA hosted a very successful Annual Conference and Trade Show.    The Iowa Events Center/Hy-Vee Hall was well received as the new venue for the 2012 conference.     We have posted the PowerPoint presentations from Eric Casey, CAE, Executive Director, National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association (NOWRA).

OFFICIAL NOTICE TO MEMBERS OF THE IOWA ONSITE WASTEWATER ASSOCIATION

The Annual Meeting for members of Iowa Onsite Waste Water Association was held January 12, 2012 at 12:15 p.m. in Rooms 302-306 of the Iowa Events Center, 730 Third Street, Des Moines, IA.   The minutes of the 2011 Annual Business meeting can be found in the Documents & Files section of this page.

2011 CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHT!   Casey Mallon, Mallon Excavating in Slater, IA captured first place in IOWWA's first ROE-D-Hoe competition held in the PLEX exhibit hall during the 2011 IOWWA Annual Conference.  Mallon won $500, plus $500 for expenses to compete in the international Roe-D-Hoe competition, held during the Pumper and Cleaner International Environmental Expor from March 2-5 in Lousville, KY.

Casey then earned top honors at the 2011 NOWRA National Backhoe Roe-D-Hoe at the Pumper Show in Louisville.  Casey beat 10 other tough competitors in the finals, earning the title of 2011 National Roe-D-Hoe Champion and the $1,000 first place prize.  NOWRA captured most of Casey's prize winning performance and you can watch it on YouTube.
